Datsun 1000
Datsun 1000 Sedan and Pickup (210 and 220 respectively) were rolled out in November 1957. Cars were not what everybody could own at the time in Japan, but popularization of cars was getting widespread. The exhibition at Imported Car Show at L.A., USA in January 1958 and the class win of Datsun 1000 “Fuji” at Mobilgas Trial (Round Australia) in the same year triggered Nissan’s full-scale export to North America. The successor of this Datsun 1000 was the first generation Datsun Bluebird (310).
This liitle gem was found in America. It’s from 1959. Althoug it’s full of dents and missing paints it complete and solid.
